Suplementary Legalisation Document process
On the 27th of January, we received a letter from K&T containing a document from the Dutch Ministry of Justice; this is the so-called "Permission to Adopt" document. According to the Dutch adoption law, the difference between the adoption parent(s) and the child must not exceed 40 years op age. Considering our situation we have to legalize the personalized "Adoption Permission"; this means a new roundtrip to Den Haag to obtain the necessary stamps from: - The Ministry of Justice (Є 4 .-) - The Ministry of Foreign affairs - The Chinese Ambassy (Є 22.-) On Feb 2nd we completed this proces and sent a copy of the legalized document to K&T.
