Today as expected, we received another letter from K&T, containing the comformation of our acceptance document. And the lonmg awaited colour two protographs of Roselyn of which we would like to share with you.
I think, both are taken specialy for this occasion outside the institute. We think she's cute.

Today at last, we received the long awaited package from "Kind & Toekomst".
Our hearts beating in our ears as we ripped the envelope open in excitement; questions in vivid imagery flashed in our minds. How will she look like ? Can we relate to and love her at first sight ? What clothes does she wear ? Does she have long or short hair ? How are her eyes, her features, her looks .... ?
When we first saw the small photocopy of her face, our hearts skipped a beat with love and joy.
She is really adorable, she does really give credit to her name.
After admiring her for a few minutes (so it seemed, actually it was almost a full 30 minutes ....!). We examined the rest of the paperwork, this package contains the (English translated) documents:
- The adoptive parent acceptance document - which we will sign and send it back to K&T
- Medical Examination record (dated on 11th November 2005)
- Growth and development prospective
- A photograph (photocopy)
According to the medical report, Xiujie is a healthy child. She is 80.5 cm tall and her weight is 10.2 kg; quite small for her age, even for an asian It is an elaborate medical report; I'm impressed with the details.
Karen immedately called on our house doctor (GP) and asked him to "translate" the numerous medical terms and abbreviations. Wel, nothing to be alarmed of, she's all fine and healthy ! We'll schedule her for another medical check up when she arrive in Holland.
Her growth and development report showed that, Xiujie is quite an active and happy child, inquisitive, reponsive and she always have a smile ready, but she could also be naughty at times.
We just can't wait to welcome her . . . . . . !

At last after more than two years of impatient anticipation, at last our wish has come true; today, our adoption agency "Kind & Toekomst" (K&T) called and confirmed the match and told us the great news early this afternoon:
